2) Is the manufacturer known and where is it made? Most lifts sold to compete with the
Direct-Lift 2-Column Lift Series are imports that are being brought in from unknown manufacturers at slightly lower prices and with higher rated capacities. These companies do not conform to the
USA lifting standards and therefore guess at rated capacities. It is unknown whether these companies are even insured in the
USA (it should be vital that you ask these questions).

REMSTAR inventory management and parts distribution system with a

Pro-10D is a commercial grade 2-post overhead model
automotive lift that utilizes a unique versatile arm design with a single-point safety lock release system. This unique arm design allows this
two post lift to be flexible for both cars and trucks/ SUV's by positioning the vehicle as needed either behind the columns to avoid contacting the doors or centered for reaching frame points on trucks/ SUV's.
Most asymmetric-only auto lifts fall short when trying to reach the frame rails on trucks/SUV's unless you take the time to carefully position the truck in the right place so the short front arms can properly reach the lifting points on the frame. Because the Pro-10D Truck Lift has a longer short arm than most other asymmetric only lifts, it has no trouble reaching the lifting points on trucks and SUV's and can properly center the load more symmetrical for better balanced lifting. The Pro 10 is perfect for wheel removal for brake jobs and
wheel balancer jobs.
On lifting cars, the Pro-10D can load either asymmetric or symmetric for maximum flexibility.
