2014 begins with a celebration at Derek Weaver Company, Inc. This year marks the 30th anniversary for the company and the 38th year of Derek’s experience in the automotive industry. For 30 years now Derek Weaver Company has sold lifts and shop equipment to many of the best known shops, dealerships, custom builders and enthusiasts.
To start the year, Direct Lift , the brand that Derek Founded in 1999, will serve as the Exclusive Lift Sponsor for all the Barrett-Jackson collector car auctions in 2014, starting with the Scottsdale, Ariz., event Jan. 12-19. It will be the third consecutive year Direct Lift has partnered with the prestigious auction producer.
“Barrett-Jackson is an excellent match for Direct Lift because they both represent the best of the best in the collector car industry,” said Lance Jones, Direct Lift brand manager. "At its events, Barrett-Jackson relies on Direct Lift to show off some of the most valuable collectible vehicles on the market, so enthusiasts know they can trust Direct Lift to provide a high-quality product and reliable service for their own garages."
Barrett-Jackson produces “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions,” which feature an array of high-end, one-of-a-kind vehicles. Many cross the block without reserve prices, creating an exciting atmosphere that draws thousands of spectators and bidders.
In addition to the Scottsdale event, auto lovers will see Direct Lift at all other Barrett-Jackson auctions. At Scottsdale, Direct Lift four-post lifts will be featured in the Bidder Bar, pre-inspection area and Direct Lift booth in the vendor area. See special offers at the booth that will be honored at Derek Weaver Company. The blue Direct-Lift logo will also be on display right behind the podium where all the action goes down.
Live television coverage of Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale begins on FOX Sports 2 on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 PM ET (5:00 PM MT). The Barrett-Jackson and FOX partnership and expanded coverage are highlighted by the event’s first-ever appearance on FOX, starting Saturday, Jan. 18 at 3:00 PM ET (1:00 PM MT).
