Co founded by Derek Weaver, the company started in Fort Worth, Texas with a very simple premise -- that it was actually possible to manufacture a commercial-grade automotive lift line that could be sold to end-users at affordable prices. Direct Lifts are produced in a manufacturing plant with state-of-the-art equipment that meets ISO9001 certification as well as producing ALI Third Party certified lifts. This challenge was met by the company, which resulted in Direct Lift becoming the second largest vehicle lift manufacturer in the world. In 2007, Direct Lift was acquired by Rotary Lift Consolidated.
