Welcome to DerekWeaver.com. In this video we will demonstrate restoring the factory settings to the W-957 Wheel Balancer.
Start the factory restoration process by flipping the power switch to on. To begin the factory setup, hit the House key and then hit the DIS plus key to enter factory setup. Hit the House key two times to begin the first step of factory setup.
Rotate the shaft until the numbers in the outer window show 111. Then press the C key. Now rotate the shaft back in the other direction until the numbers in the outer window show 55. Then hit the C key. Rotate the shaft clockwise until the numbers in the outer window reach 111 for the second time. Then hit the C key. The inner window should show COD and the outer window should show SET.
Hit the House button. Use the DIS plus or DIS minus button to adjust the number in the inner window to 46. Press the House key. The inner window will show BA and the outer window will have a dimension.
Now we will benchmark the distance gauge by measuring the distance from the machine to the back of the flange. Place the distance gauge against the back of the flange as shown here and note the distance from the machine to the back of the flange. In this case, that distance is 155.
Now we will enter the dimension from the distance gauge in the outer window using the DIS plus or DIS minus button. The distance is 155, as shown in the outer window. Now hit the House key. The factory reset for your W-957 Wheel Balancer is now complete.
