The Droptail has a 93" table length which is longer than the industry standard 80-84", plus the DT has a 19.5" x 24" removable DropTail for rear end access. Includes Rubber Lined Wheel Vise, Foot Operated Pedal and Stabilizer Bar. Two position vise for different length bikes and choppers. I am a shop owner and we primarily work on big twins and need a lift that can handle heavy loads and stays stable. Have had 2 of these lifts as well as a Handy Lift and have to say for the money you can't go wrong with this lift. Its plenty long and also love the new lift pedal design as well as the ability to stretch the length even more!
Want a great lift for half the price the other guys are charging double for, than you need to get this one. It's built heavy and the quality is great I've been searching for along time and this lift is as nice as a $1600 lift, LOVE IT!!
This Direct Lift works perfect and the price is a bonus also. This lift picks my 2016 Harley Roadglide Ultra up without any hesitation and this bike weighs 920 lbs. I would highly recommend this table lift.

I previously owned a piece of junk lift from a certain freight company that only worked when it wanted to. I researched affordable lifts, then spoke to Carol, a very knowledgeable rep. I visited the showroom, and saw the quality of the lift. I was sold! The only issue I have is the unloading of the crate as it is very heavy for one person to unload. The lift works flawlessly! I would highly recommend purchasing this lift for the shade-tree mechanic, or the professional.

the lift works like it should does not require a lot of air pressure just some volume (no problem there) any one looking for a lift i would recommend this one highly it gets my Goldwing in the air with no trouble at all.

First off, The service that I've received from Derek Weaver co. through several purchases has been second to nothing. Friendly, patient and helpful service rep made the order quick and to the point. Also the speed of shipment was icing on the cake. Direct Lift- Very well built and with nice looks. The drop tail is a must and do yourself the favor of ordering the black jack with this lift or any lift for that matter! Makes raising the back wheel clear of the lift a breeze for removal. Also front wheels if bike is off the lift. If you've never used one, you don't know what your missing. I've ordered three of them for my garage and use the crap out of them. Worth every penny.
I also got the side extensions for quads but I leave them on for bikes as they make handy surface for your tools or parts. My cylinder seal started leaking after lifting only four bikes (regulated at 95psi). Just stopped lifting all together one day. Called weaver and they without any hassle at all, shipped me a new one under warranty. Talked to several others who own this lift and they've had no similar issues. So overall I'm happy with this lift and two thumbs up to Weaver's service. Be back soon. Thanks!
Great system. Had been using a hydraulic 12 by 12 inch for my Harley Ultra Classic. With this lift it is a whole new world. Came 99% assembled. There are more places to install the front wheel clamp. Full forward (my first installation) left my Ultra forward of the rear wheel dropout and fully on the lift. After moving the wheel clamp back to the second install position this gave me the ability to drop the panel from under the rear wheel. Powder coating is very well done.
Initially I did not buy the side panel extensions. Easy to ride the bike up onto the lift and into the wheel clamp. When it came time to back out, no place to put my feet made for some very dicey moments when the need to balance became apparent without perches for my feet without tucking them way under the centerline of the bike. Fortunately I am tall and was able to do this.
The air system works well, the foot control is well made and substantial enough to stay where you put it with out floating around the floor. You need a small jack platform to enable the ability to get the wheels off the lift to drop the panel. It comes with two eyebolts to allow a place to put the tie down straps. There are many holes on the table to put these eyebolts.
This table easily accommodates the extended frame style motorcycles. Manufactured by an ISO rated company means that there are stringent standards of quality control. It shows in all areas with a complete package of the required hardware, no shortages on anything.
I fabricated the side extensions and mounting systems including the outsourcing of the powder coating. After all was said and done my fab cost was greater than the option cost as supplied by the manufacturer. I will say it again, if you can afford it buy the side extension option with the lift. You will be safety, time, and money ahead in the long run. This lift is way worth the money, in my opinion.
Although this lift is advertised using chopper style bikes, I use it with road racing, sport-touring, and dual-sport bikes. First, as others have said, the packaged instructions could use some work, but it’s still pretty simple. One note, ensure your 90 degree airline adaptor coming out of the air cylinder is pointing at about a 4 o’clock position so the rubber line doesn’t have to bend so much when the lift is the down position. Some of the pictures online look like it could possibly be top heavy or unstable. Nope, it’s very stable. No threat of pulling it over while wrenching on a bike.
The extra length is great for putting the rear of race bikes up on a rear stand. Also the bike can be put on backwards and the rear tire can be put in the tire vise. Then the front wheel or forks can be removed with a fork/ stem stand.
Plenty of power. Pops up my fully loaded Kawasaki C-14 Concours in a few seconds. Multiple levels available with the lock help vary what position you want. Front tire vise also firmly holds a taller 21” wheel like on dual sport bikes. I went to Ft Worth and picked it up to save $200 on freight. Item was ready and quickly loaded. Great customer service.
Over all, very well made for the money. I see no need to ever upgrade from this. Would buy this again.
