Dang it, I just don't like bending over working on bikes anymore. Like so many have said, "I should have bought this thing years ago."
While shopping around, I noticed there seem to be about 3 or 4 common lifts distributed by different folks but they're basically the same. I thought Derek Weaver had one of the better prices around and then I discovered they had a warehouse in Fort Worth. Hey, I live in DFW too. Bingo, I picked it up at the warehouse and saved a fair amount of coin.
Well I've used it a half a dozen times now and I'm so happy. My little compressor easily lifts my 600lb bikes up in just a few seconds. The lift is stable enough that I don't use the wide pipe that fits in the bottom for increased stability.
BTW, the written description is correct that the wheel vise has a rubber liner but its not shown in the picture. The rubber was a sloppy fit on mine so I used a little liquid nails to secure it to the vise and all is well. That's it, the only weakness I found with this product.
P.S. I ordered over the phone and Carrol was very nice to deal with.

The order process, shipping, delivery of the lift was all outstanding. Easy to follow and very quick from order to receive. Lift itself is actually more than I thought it would be. Extremely happy with purchase.

The lift is a great addition to my shop. The service is among the best I have experienced with an online company. The lady who answered the phone was able to answer my questions and was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. Got her sooner than I expected and was easy to set up. Very satisfied with Derek Weaver Co.

Completely satisfied with my TX-1000 cycle lift.
1. Can’t beat the price.
2. Service was prompt, accurate and curtious. (I actually felt like the woman I spoke with on the phone cared about MY shipment) I know now she did.
3..My lift arrived a day earlier than expected. I took it home and in about 90min. It was uncrated assembled and raised with my race bike on it.
4.When my new shop is built I’ll be buying another one.

I love this lift. It seems very high quality and a bargain for the sale price. I decided on this model after reading several great reviews online and I couldn't be happier.

Can’t say enough good things about this lift. Well built, solid, stable quality piece. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a lift. It’s easy of use and set up is awesome. Doesn’t matter if you’re working on your own bike or own a shop. You need this lift.

I ordered my lift on a Friday and because of the weekend it was shipped on Monday. I received it on Tuesday and set it up immediately. I am very impressed with this lift, it works great. I have had no problems at all setting it up and getting a bike on it. Love it.

You see all kinds of fancy new lifts with attachments available, some of which actually make your job harder. Stick with a basic hard working, long living lift that you and your tech's can depend on everyday. This is that lift.

Paid for itself after I swapped out the rear shock on my Concours 1400. As others have said: "I should have bought one years ago". I bought this lift with the side extensions so that I can ride my 700 lb. motorcycle up on the lift and have a place to put my feet down. It also doubles as a lawn mower service table. Works perfect. Lifts the bike with ease. I also added the front chopper extension which allows me to put the bike on both the front and rear Pit stands to facilitate removal of the front and rear wheels and suspension while keeping the bike well supported.

I have a Sport Touring motorcycle, the lift is the standard width of 24". I never thought about this until I was ready to try the lift but with my bike if I rode it on, there would be no place for my feet unless I could reach an additional 7+ inches to the floor.
My solution was to build a platform that could easily attach and remove. I used three sections of 1" pipe( one was 4' the other two were 18") they will slide into or through the lift and attach to a 12" wide board on each side.
Anyway it would have been easier and nicer to just buy the side extensions, don't wait to buy them later cause freight will be too expensive for extensions alone.
DW is very easy to deal with and they speak ENGLISH.
P.S. very pleased with the lift! Only complaint is the max height.
